Option-Forge Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-04-09

Option-Forge LLC will not publish, disclose, sell, license, or otherwise share your non-public trades, backtests, strategies, or results with third parties without your explicit written permission.

These terms govern your use of Option-Forge. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Service limits and availability

Option-Forge is a hosted research tool. Features, limits, and quotas may change over time as the service evolves.

You should not rely on uninterrupted availability, continued feature availability, or permanent access to any particular data, shared link, or saved result.

In particular, there may be stricter limits on the number of backtests in the future.

We may suspend or restrict access for repeated abuse, attempts to disrupt the service, or repeated use that creates unreasonable load for other users.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, interfere with the service, evade limits, share accounts, scrape or extract data at unreasonable scale, or attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the service except as allowed by law.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Option-Forge.

By using the service, you represent that you can form a binding agreement and that your use of the service is lawful where you are located.

Data quality

Historical options data can contain missing values, bad records, stale quotes, and other defects.

Option-Forge makes reasonable efforts to detect, filter, and account for these issues, but they can still affect fills, pricing, metrics, and the apparent performance of a strategy.

Backtest results may drift over time as underlying historical data is corrected, expanded, or otherwise revised.

The way missing data is handled, and the way model inputs such as dividend yield are estimated and tuned, may also be refined over time, which can change reported results.

You are responsible for validating any result before relying on it for research, trading, or business decisions.

Privacy and ownership

You own the backtest configurations you create and the results generated from them.

Your backtests and results are not public unless you choose to share them.

Option-Forge LLC will not sell your user data, including your backtests, saved configurations, or results.

Except as needed to operate the service, support your account, protect the platform, or comply with legal obligations, Option-Forge LLC will not disclose your non-public backtests, saved configurations, or results to third parties without your explicit written permission.

If you choose to share a backtest, you are responsible for that shared content and for making sure you have the right to share it.

Billing, cancellation, and retention

Billing and cancellation are handled through Stripe.

No refunds will be given for subscription payments, partial billing periods, or unused service time.

After payment is stopped or a subscription otherwise ends, saved backtests may be deleted.

Shared backtests may be deleted after 90 days.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under it.

Waiver and risk disclosure

This disclosure is part of these terms and applies to all use of the service.

Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including ownership, payment, disclaimers, liability limits, dispute terms, and retention or deletion terms.
